- McGee Monuments was started in 1900 by John H. McGee at its current location on State Street.
- His son Franklin McGee inherited the family business in 1936.
- J. Warren McGee and Frank J. McGee took over the business in 1955.
- Mr. J. Warren McGee sold the business to Donald M. Rath and Robert J. Leonard in 1984.
